No. The training is designed to help beginners develop practical capability, confidence and business understanding from the ground up.   Prior experience in: sales trades construction detailing service businesses or general workforce experience   can certainly be an advantage, but it is not required.   The goal of SkillBusiness is to simplify the process and provide structured guidance so motivated people can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Yes.   The SkillBusiness philosophy is heavily focused on highly profitable, premium-positioned one-person operations.   Many modern service businesses become less profitable and more stressful as they grow large teams, vehicles and overheads.   We believe there is enormous opportunity in building: a highly skilled operation premium positioning strong online marketing excellent customer service and efficient systems   without needing large staff numbers.

As quickly as you are ready to move forward and as availability allows within our national training schedule.   To maintain a high level of personal involvement and hands-on training quality, we only accept a limited number of SkillBusiness trainees nationally each year, so positions are limited.   One of the advantages of a modern service business is the ability to control your workload and growth pace over time.   By increasing or reducing your advertising and lead generation activity, you can largely influence: how busy your schedule becomes how quickly you grow and how much work you choose to take on.

Yes. This is not just an online course. Training is designed to be highly practical and immersive, with real-world installation experience and business guidance.   Students work directly alongside the SkillBusiness team during live installs and practical demonstrations.

Training will be conducted within your local operating area to provide practical real-world experience in the market you intend to work within.   During the two-week training period, the Trainee will complete: four (4) double garage epoxy flake flooring installations; and one (1) driveway pressure clean and seal project.   These projects may be completed for: paying customers; family or friends; or selected promotional installations offered at no charge.   The choice of how these projects are sourced and structured remains with the Trainee. To further support business launch momentum, SkillBusiness will also assist in running local advertising campaigns during the training period with the goal of generating: initial customer enquiries; quoting opportunities; and potential early sales within the Trainee’s local market.   SkillBusiness operates as a national training platform and travels to different regions throughout the year.

Yes.   We understand many people already have preferred power tool platforms and battery systems.   Where practical, we can often customise compatible hand tools to suit preferred brands such as: Makita Milwaukee Bosch Hikoki / Hitachi AEG Ryobi and others   This generally applies to compatible cordless hand tools such as: drills blowers multi-tools and battery systems
